Abacus organises and facilitates the involvement of students in activities outside the school on a regular basis - excursions, exchange programs and inter-school events. Student Exchange Programs with similar schools outside Chennai has been an ongoing affair at Abacus. Class 7 students visit and host the Pallikoodam School at Kottayam every year. Guest speakers are invited to talk to children about their life & work experiences. Day excursions around Chennai are arranged several times each term. And at least one major expedition out of the city - always the highlight of the term for students! We utilise all opportunities to participate in inter-school activities, and other social events that nurture interaction beyond the realm of academia.
